Dental Assisting
Dental Assistant The dental assistant is an integral part of the dental health care team. Dental assistants, working under the supervision of dentists, perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties.

The Dental Assistant Program is a one-academic year course of study leading to a technical certificate. This accredited program prepares the individual to take the national certification exam, through the Dental Assisting National Board, to become a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). The Dental Assistant Program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
