ATA Career Education


Dental assistants are an important part of the successful operation of a dental practice. They perform a variety of jobs, including patient care, office management and laboratory duties. All ATA graduates are accepted into the University of Louisville School of Dentistry's Expanded Duty Dental Auxiliary (EDDA) course.




In addition to the basic coursework for dental assistants, ATA also provides:

  • 300 hours of externship in a dental office.
